The latest "Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles" is sooooo ridiculous!! As a resident of Ann Arbor (hipster central), this latest one is SO true!!!
Beautiful sculptural piece made to look like clouds. They innerlock & are super cute.
Oh, and for fun...

Randoms from the net again
Preliminary illustrations for an animation I recently came across. I adore the color scheme and thick, unapologetic lines.
This store in Portland (of course) has absolutely beautiful stuff! I'd wear anything from their store.
Found some great examples of hand-written type as well. Beautiful work all savaged from flickr accounts.

B-roo
As a three-time Bonnaroo veteran, I found this hilarious! Too bad Mtv bought it. I only used to pay $150, sounds like the price has doubled. Ridiculous.

Swoon Solo Exibit
How can so many artists be making so many beautiful work at all the same TIME??!!??
Upper Playground recently interviewed one of my favorite artists of all time: SWOON.
This girl is amazing, slowly knocking everyone off their feet.
She & Blu of Italy are two of my favorite favorite favorite artists. I can't explain how inspirational their work is to me.
Check out her vid! She's very charming.
Another video of her side project/collab of "Swimming Cities". I'd LOVEEEE to work in an amazing group like this!!

Ok, serious time
So the last post...like 2 minutes ago...was all fun & games. Back to the art thang.
Nikki McClure has done a new exibit of work. Awesome shit, as USUAL!!
And, the happy family!! Wow, their son looks soooo much like McClure, check out that smile!!.(That's the artist in the center, very very au-naturale. No makeup at all, she kinda looks like a home wife in the mid-1800's who churned butter and miked cows all day. Very "of the earth").
Also, a very touching/haunting street piece for childrens' causes. Moving indeed!

I've always loved the graphics for the MTV music awards. I'd loooove to work on them once, that is my career dream. Even if i don't actually want to watch the program. This year is no exception, beautiful work!
Also in the world are two amazing videos that parody on the art director-client relationship.
This shit is hilarious, as I've started freelancing and people are shit. Definitely not all, but a good majority want to f*ck you over where they wouldn't in any other field.
Also, saw this print on gigposters.com
Absolutely beautiful work, screen print. Only $20, wish I had money though!!!
So very, very poor. Crap.
