Fresh from BuyOlympia & Upper Playground
Some sweet (and I mean that literally) stuff from a new artist I found via buyolympia, the accurately named Jill Bliss.
Suddenly I have an urge to get those watercolors back out...
Again Little Otsu has some cute & charming cards. Again, urge to watercolor is called forth!
Upper Playground, an always trusty site, debuts this shirt. Awesome, and yes, I know this is super scene of me to like this. Oh well.
Don't remember where I found this but I love the type/logo design!!

So as a fan of This American Life, I listen to the program just about every other day (meaning a lot of reruns). One thing I cannot take, however, is damn Sarah Vowell. Can't stand her. That's why I was delighted to see I wasn't the only one who is irritated by how self-righteous she is.

My favorite line to describe her latest book: "Vowell, who constantly emphasizes how nerdy (meaning impressive) she finds her own interest in the Puritans, introduces figures like John Winthrop and Roger Williams as if no one’s ever heard of them."
Couldn't be more accurate.
