Imagine how snobby this kid grows up to be. It's still sweet though, I kind of want it for myself. Check out those cubbies! Click on the living room to see more.
Just discovered the work of Adrien Merigeau. Goodbye evening. Here's what got me on this tangent:
So I don't normally do this, but I have to rant. Here I am, a fucking early 20s artist. Life sucks. All I want to do all day is stay in & draw, just watch this kind of stuff, get inspired, and work for the next 12 hours cause I can't stop. It's maddening. I met with a couple artists when I first came to Portland & what they said was totally true: "It's an addiction". How true, you can't stop. My golden years better be bad ass, I am in need of super good karma.
Ok, so I don't usually post super girlie stuff but I came across these flowers and absolutely love them! They're clay & as my fav flowers are peonies this discovery was just perfect. I love flowers, but hate those fake fabric ones. This would be an awesome alternative.
Check out the etsy. Fair warning: estrogen overload.
Went out exploring my new city of Portland the other day, and finally went to the Grilled Cheese Grill. They have a plethora of different types of grilled cheeses, and a cutesy little bus in the same lot as their kitchen trailer where you can eat your goodies. Inside was this fucking ridiculous mural by artists Eatcho & Jason Graham. Look 'em up.
Saw their work in the book "New Vintage Type" I got from the library. I adore their typeface "ambroesia", but couldn't find how to buy/download the typeface. Darn.
Here's the link about them from their site: "Give away everything you know and more will come back to youLondon based filmmakers Luke White and Remi Weekes have decided to open up the creative process with the blog ‘Tell No One’. Intended to be a peek into our experimental process, we hope to post our on-going ideas, inspirations and processes. Think of this as like an informal brainstorm. We love making music videos and commercials, so we hope this blog may attract the attention of music artists, production houses and even other film makers that would want to collaborate or even expand upon our ideas!"
So,...haven't written in awhile because I've MOVED to SEATTLE! It's absolutely beautiful here. I'll talk about it some other time, but I'm more excited (at the moment) for THIS:
About to piss my pants over anticipation!!! This movie is going to be so awesome, AND it's coming soon to Seattle! (23rd of this month!!). SO many amazing artists are in this film, I'm so pumped to see it.
